PostUp – Design Sprint
Find work-friendly cafés based on real-time noise levels, outlets, and Wi-Fi.I completed this 5-day design sprint for a mobile app called PostUp, which helps remote workers find quiet spots in the city to get work done. The goal was to validate a core idea quickly: could users confidently discover and choose locations optimized for productivity?
My Role:
UX Designer
Tools: Figma,
Process Overview:
Day 1 – Understand
Mapped the problem, goals, and key competitors like WorkFrom and Google Maps. Defined our main user: remote professionals needing quiet places.
Day 2 – Sketch
Sketched rough solutions based on top apps and brainstormed flows for filtering cafés by Wi-Fi, outlets, and quiet.
Day 3 – Decide
Voted on key features: simple filters, spot ratings, and a feedback system.
Day 4 – Prototype
Built a clickable mid-fidelity prototype in Figma with 5 core screens:
Welcome → Filters → Results → Spot Details → Feedback.
Day 5 – Test
Conducted remote usability testing with 5 users.
Key Takeaway: Users wanted a clearer visual hierarchy in the results list and more detail in spot descriptions.
